Tips for uploading Photos:

  • Use high resolution photos when possible - lower resolution may not scale well to the larger print format, and could appear blurry
  • Crop photos to the approximate shape/size of the 'frames' of the pattern you select

How do I reposition photos once I've uploaded them?

Once you've uploaded your images, a series of buttons will appear below the preview. Click the select image button (far left - two squares and arrows) until the image you'd like to alter is surrounded by a black box (see picture below).   

Once selected, use the + and - buttons to zoom in and out, and the 4 directional buttons on the right to reposition.

On patterns where the same picture repeats, you'll see all adjustments will apply to all of the repeats of the image you're working on. Once you're satisfied, hit the select button on the left to move onto the next image (where applicable)

NOTE: It may take several clicks to move the highlight to the photo you're after.

What happens if I don't complete a custom field?

If you leave any of the fields that are available for custom text or images blank, they will appear blank on the preview and on the finished product.

Can I use the same picture for multiple fields?

Absolutely! However you will need to upload the photo to each available field. For example if the pattern allows up to 3 photos, you will have to upload the same picture for Image 1, Image 2 and Image 3.

Is the preview 'Actual Size'?

No, the preview is a zoomed in view so that you can see the detail of the text and photos you'll be adding - however it is to SCALE. So the size and position of the text/photo in relation to the background will be accurate. There is a full pattern image in the item description that will allow you to see how frequently the custom fields repeat - but will not feature your custom text and images.
